One of my nephews bought a second-hand model shed for his railway. It was in a shocking state when he asked me if I could do anything with it.

It was painted bright orange, gloss green and grey. It looked like it had been built and painted by a very young modeller and had had a tough life afterwards too.

I didn’t have much hope for it, but after 3 or 4 goes removing the old paint with oven cleaner and then breaking the model apart and re-assembling it I was surprised by how well it revived.

Unfortunately I didn’t think to take any before photos and this is the only after one I have.

My nephew is a Manchester United fan by the way, hence the MUFC graffiti.
