This was a build of the 1:8 Hasegawa Clerget 9B kit in white metal, as opposed to the more common plastic kit.

The kit isn’t as sharp as the injection moulded plastic, but makes a much, much better base for those planning to detail the model.

During my build I scrapped almost all of the detail parts in the Hasegawa kit and kept only the main castings. The rest is scratch-built. The end result was quite satisfying though.
